Our company history

From Pieterjan Dwarshuis‘ passion for sailing in the first place and that of the DNA team, we have been involved in composite yacht building since the foundation of Holland Composites.

Leading example of this is the construction of the Brunel Sunergy (Dutch entry for the Whitbread Ocean Race in 1997) and of many other types of yachts. In the photo gallery you can see some examples.

DNA Performance Sailing was founded in 2009 from the desire to fully design, engineer and build a yacht ourselves. The DNA A-class design was the reason for this. Since then, we’ve produced more than 400 of this type of boats.

Over the years, various products and yacht designs have been added to the DNA range.

A dedicated team of sailors and builders create your perfect foiling boat

We would like to introduce you to the team that builds your new foiling catamaran or foiling trimaran. The construction team consists of skilled engineers with a background in (competition) sailing and dedicated carbon experts with years of experience.

Together they ensure that your new multihull leaves our factory in perfect condition, on its way to any address in the world. From laminate sheets to Zünd cutting machine, from 3D drawing to the most streamlined hydrofoils: we build your perfect foiling multihull!
